‘Best competition so far,’ confirms Fifa director of tournaments
The Fédération Internationale de Football Association Beach Soccer World Cup 2025 held in Seychelles between May 1-11 has been the best one hosted so far, the association’s director of tournaments Jaime Yarza González has confirmed.
He made the statement yesterday, shortly after leading a Fédération Internationale de Football Association (Fifa) delegation on courtesy call on President Wavel Ramkalawan at State House.
Mr González was being accompanied by Fifa head of Olympics, futsal and beach soccer Kasra Haghighi, venue manager of the Fifa Beach Soccer World Cup Seychelles 2025 Gabino Renales, Fifa sports management student Jules-Antoine Bidé, and people and culture business partner at Fifa Monika Kreppold.
