36 cases of Covid-19 detected |21 April 2021
The Ministry of Health has detected 36 new cases of the Covid-19 virus since the last update on April 19, bringing the total number of active cases to 450.
A total of 34 cases met discharge criteria and were released from isolation yesterday.
The country has since the outbreak of the pandemic recorded a cumulative total of 4,976 cases, 4,501 of which have recovered.
Twenty-five Covid-19 related deaths have been recorded thus far. The Ministry of Health advises everyone to continue to practise the different measures to stop the spread of Covid-19. Members of the public are being urged to download the 鈥楥ontak鈥� application from Google Playstore and keep track of the places they visit to facilitate contact tracing.
