Representatives of the Island Conservation Society (ICS) appeared yesterday before the Commission of Inquiry into the lease and development of Assomption Island, presenting their accounts of the circumstances surrounding the construction of the luxury tourism project already underway.
The Commission, chaired by Judge Mathilda Twomey at the Court of Appeal, Palais de Justice, Ile du Port, first heard testimony from ICS chief executive Norman Weber, who has held the position for six years.
